Rock River Ride (Revisited)

Hello all. Just woke up from hibernation.

HEY Wheaton! I thought that we might try this Rock River Ride attempt again now that the temperature may stay above frozen water.

I have not thought of a particular day on the calendar yet and am just throwing this out for others to think about. I want to make it with more advanced planning for all. What do you all think out there?

My first thoughts are maybe... end of May? Hey there is Memorial day there. Maybe that Sunday? Or how about sometime in June?

Just think about this for now and we can gather up prospective riders and possible dates.

Also playing with idea of a 'round the lake tour and picking up riders along the various points. This is for later near end of summer or so.

Yeah Blitzer,

I think that there are alot of people in the Chicago area that are new to the board this year.

Me...I've got 4 out-of-state trips I am going to between the end of April and the first part of June. Therefore, I probably couldn't be part of a May ride...though that is typically a good time and may be for many others.

Once these trips are finished, I was gonna PM a few people and gage the interest for a breakfast meetup closer to the metro area...just so people could put faces to names.

Anyways...plan away any of you Chicago area riders...

That breakfast meetup sounds good. We could maybe discuss a Rock River Run then. Have fun on your trips. I am going on tour myself. Doing the Laughlin River Run in Nevada. I'll check back in later.
