Picked it up Thursday afternoon and put 202 miles on it. Friday after another 472 miles I'm back home. Let it cool down for a little while then gave it a bath. D&H are good people to deal with. The good weather on the ride home made for a great first ride.

Decided to wait until tomorrow to do the oil change. Here are a few pictures.

Looking good there Titan! I like the pic looking down the bridges and congrats on the new ride. Be safe out there, PM. <>< :good:

Beautiful pics! Glad you had a good ride home.

Has it been determined yet if the Red bikes are faster than the Blue?

Because it is well documented the Blue is faster than the silvers.

Ditto on the pics. Ditto on the helmet. Ditto on you choice of bike. And, if I werent faced with an 11 or 12 hour ride there, I'd be getting my FJR from AL as well. :yahoo:

Congrats on the new ride. I share your joy! I picked my new one up yesterday and did 128 miles. First impressions:

1. WOW!!

2. Seat more comfortable than I thought it would be

3. Throttle springs are pretty stiff. Will try the mod.

4. Did not notice much problem with any abrupt throttle response. Seemed very manageable.

5. Pretty windy. Lot of helmet wind noise. But i'm really long waisted and sit well above the windscreen

6. Stiff clutch pull but with the 5th gear torque who needs to change gears

7. FUN, FUN, FUN!! :yahoo:

Completed the first oil change today. Easy access to everything, quick job. Final drive oil change even easier.

What's wrong with my helmet?

Congrats on the new bike. D&H are great people. They have a good price on Y.E.S. warranty.

Be safe out there.

I got the Cee Bailey windshield and WOW. I got the 4" higher and 3" wider. I am only 5' 8". When I got the windshield about half way up... quiet as a church mouse. Too high up, creates a little back pressure on my helmet and back... but manageable.

if you mean the AE in your sig block then, no, you're not. you're riding the bastard child of a a 2003 and a 2005 bike. silverish BLUE. In the US, the only true SILVER was 2003! :yahoo:
<_<

LMAO, I checked my owners manual, It said silver............ Get with the times, The new SILVER is fast. I am NOT talking about that slow outdated silver at all :assassin: :yahoo:

I to rode back from D and H! 808 miles total. Rotten motel Experiences! Great with D and H!

Where exactly is D&R?

Looks like somewhere in AL. on the license plate cover.

look again. it says more than "silver", it says something like Circumcision silver. that means it's not silver and you might as well call it stumpy!

Ya'll think Renaa's good looking, you should meet her daughter in Denver.
