Well after the fix I took it out with about 20 FJR's today on a great day in Northern California. Low 60's and dry sunny weather. Over time really didn't notice a great power loss but a loss all the same. This thing now runs like you can't even imagine unless it your first time on one. It was no longer the loudest bike on the lot. But there were a few very loud what I would consider tickers but said nothing as not to disturb the peace and tranquility of a great day. What a difference in acceleration and performance, just like new. Thank you Momma Yamaha.

Same thing happened to me after mine was fixed just a few short weeks ago. It's such a slow degradation that you don't realize what you've lost till you have it back again! Brings a little of the magic back but I for one still have the question of will it return and should I sell her now? I love my bike but don't want a repeat of my ticking woes if you know what I mean. Don't want to have her torn down every 8000 miles! Hopefully these new valve seals do the trick but only time will tell.
