Went on the Rose City 500 yesterday and saw several FJR's. Anybody from this group? Great day to get some miles on the bike, saw a few cops but there was also some very fast sections in eastern Washington. Was doing 100mph and the squids are still passing me. But I did see 125 for a couple of miles so I was able to keep them in site. Great weather and good roads.

I was there for the clean up as I am a member of that organization. Did'nt ride the event, but had done 2 pre-rides. Good ride to streach the legs in Wa. east of the mountains. I didn't see you there late (or I didn't see your bike) but saw two other 05's that stuck around for the prizes. There were something like 380 bikes and 425 participants. No accidents.

Look forward to meeting you for the Mt. St. Helens Volcano Ride, June 10th.

Ken,

We didn't stop on the way home, just kept blasting south on I-205 toward Canby. Glad there was no accidents, unlike the 250 I was on a couple of years ago. Looking forward to St. Helens, would it be out of line if my friend joined us on his ST?

Bill - Ken O here - you bought my 05 - hijacking your thread but had to ask how the bike is doing??

Obviously you are putting a lot more miles on than I was able to. Lost 15 lbs, been working out some and seem to have gotten rid of my vertigo since we last talked. I put a deposit on an 06 in case I was feeling better and I think I'll go ahead with the purchase. Hope to see you on the road sometime.

Ken

Hey, Ken O, glad to here you are doing well. I'm having lots of fun with your ex. :D . Have about 2500 miles on it now and planning on some long trips this summer. You won't regret getting an '06 but if you do look me up in a year or so, I might want to trade up.
