One of the rubber inserts in my '04 OE rear carrier dropped out on the garage floor.
I have the OE non-metal rear carrier which provides handholds and a place to attach lightweight objects.
There are two inserts, one in each handhold.
Are they attached with adhesive? What keeps them in place in the handholds?
I wrapped a small cord through the handholds yesterday lightly securing a small bag of vegetables on the passenger seat.
This morning I see the rubber insert on the floor.
Doesn't appear to be damaged in any way. Just fell out of the handhold.
