Has anyone with a Gen 1 Russell Seat had it put on the seat pan of a Gen 2 FJR. If so did it work out OK. Jim T

Gen I and II seat configurations are fundamentally different. I don't think they're close to interchangable.

How about calling/emailing Russell & asking them if they think it'd work. Seems like it would, but I haven't tried it.
