Sad day for the lovers of barnyard animals. The last of Patti's pet goats woke up dead this morning and is on the way to be cremated. I don't know if there will be replacements so those of you that spent time in the barn during the RR need to bring your own entertainment. RIP.

I think my brother and sister-in-law over in eastern Montana, right up against the Dakota line, could help. They have fainting goats. Clap your hands and they tip over. No resistance, then. Trouble is, you'd have to go a l-o-o-o-ong way to get one.

How does something wake up dead?

...How does something wake up dead?
That's how I want to go. None of this drawn-out stuff. Seen too much of it.
You want to die as a barnyard animal?
Have you seen any of those sheep, goats or pigs at it?

Can't think of a better way to go than to wake up dead after a night of that. (But, for me, not with sheep, goats or pigs

.)

We used to have goats. They're pretty cute animals. My mom is still raising some, and lost two to stray dogs last year. Sorry for Patti's loss.

I feel like I am going to wake up dead if I don't get over this cold that I seem to have acquired over St. Patrick's Day! Sorry for the loss of your pet.
