Our son phoned his mom and gave her some sad news about a fellow Marine.

This young lady Michell was a room mate with our son in SanDiego going to college there and I had the privilege of meeting her. She was great person and fun to be around. Well she met another Marine that was from North Carolina and they got married about 10 months ago. Well he was killed last week in Iraqh. So it is a sad day for the rest of her life and everyone else.

It makes me so sad that our young men are there dying for what????????? When life has just begun for the two of them. weekend rider  :angry2:

Condolences to your family and the wife and family of your son's fellow soldier. I pray that your son gets to return home safely after his service. Is he on a tour overseas as well?

Do you have the hero's name? I'll track his final mission on the Patriot Guard site.

This has become a confirmed mission ride for Granite Falls, NC. Link in post above will direct to the details.

I would like to take this time to say thanks for all your work and information about this soldier that you have provided.

MY son Dave and Michelle were room mates along with some other friends going to college in San Diego. I did not meet her husband but she was a great person and all ways welcomed at our home to visit and she always returned the favor when we visited the boy in San Diego in school. So this loss is kind if hard as they were just starting their life as one.. Again thanks

God bless him and his family. He died to protect us here at home, for the fallen hero's that died before him, and all that is good and that which threatens the rightous innocent folks of the world. To this brave patriot son, I salute you. You did not die in vain. Prayers...PM. <><
