saddle bag cover plates

Looking for a set of plastic caps that go over the saddle bag mounts when the bags are removed.

I bought my bike used, and the seller didn't have the caps.

Anyone have a set they can part with? Color doesn't matter, I'm planning a new paint job in the near future.

I'm willing to pay a few bucks and cover any shipping charges to Fort Dix, New Jersey.

I've got a set from a 2004. If they're the same, and you feel like taking a ride, I'm just west of Philly and used to have a house in Browns Mills.

Just purchased a set of new ones from another member. 1st one went on fine the others would not cooperate so I punished all of them with a large heavy object. Now the pieces are yard art.

I am not a mechanical genius like most of you MFers but I just dont get it. HOW does Yomommaha & other makers of fine **** figure out how to

make a few portions of their product absolutely useless and cumbersome ??? It's like they hire "special" engineers to just screw **** up and piss people off. Those plates are chickenshit at best and not made to be installed more than once or they disintegrate in your hot little hand.

Other than that went to Hodges in Elephant Butte this am for their buffet breakfast, they make **** to make you fat & happy, just like home.

nice little 190 mile ride for breakfast, 3 hr. 20 min. including breakfast, fuel and Border Patrol check. Plenty of smoke from the big Gila fire

The Easter bunny does to chickens what Bust does to sheep, Don does to Burros, and Shiny does to goats. Its not pretty.

That Gila fire is wreaking havoc up here. There's so much smoke in the Sandia and Manzano mountains, they're afraid everyone is become desensitized and not recognize when the smoke is from a local fire. That and the blown in smoke makes local smoke hard to see.

These things are purely cosmetic - don't protect anything. Save yourself a few bucks and only replace the top two - nobody sees the bottem one anyway.
