I am considering upgrading my stock saddle and would appreciate any feedback from others who have done so. In particular, I would appreciate input on rick mayer saddles. Thanks, guys.

Steve,

There are many, many posts on this forum regarding Rick Mayer, Bill Mayer, Russell, Seargent, Spencer, and other seat modifications that are discussed at great length. Try the search option in the upper right corner of the screen or go to google and type "Rick Mayer site:fjrforum.com" and you may find more information than if you passively seek it through a new discussion thread.

Trying to help,

Want to take one for a test run? I'll swap for an hour or so. Don't know how much it's broken down from the last 70k miles supporting my 250# butt, but my Rick Mayer has served me well.

Altho often maligned, I like Corbin..Put a set on the FJR this spring and my arse couldn't be happier. I just did a 600 mile day with no monkey butt. I have the gunfighter on my FJ1200 and like that too altho it is not as comfortable as the Corbin on the FJR. Can't speak as to other seats..

+1 on the Corbin. 750 mile day on my trip to the Dragon a couple of weeks ago, 15 hours in the saddle (lotsa stops for the Harley Guys). I could of kept on going. :evilsmiley03:
