FWIW,

Norfolk, Mass.

Last year for the AE here in the states, fellers. Probably the lowest mileage AE you can buy, I know about a year ago, there were still a couple new ones layin' around in warehouses here and there, but haven't heard much about those as of late. Might just be a great bike for somebody.

Nice looking bike. Obviously not a daily rider with only 1620 miles on it (I guess that's the reason for selling). I might suggest that there aren't "tens of thousands of miles" left in the OEM Z6 tires; most people changed those out by 5,000 miles total.

If I thought I could get anything for my 2007 (106,000 miles), I would give it some serious consideration!

Good luck with the sale.

I am selling my 2009 FJR1300AE, Prime condition, 1,620 miles, over $2,000 in upgrades/farkles, transferable YES (Yamaha Extended Service Warranty) to Nov., 2016.Link here to description and photos: https://www.jcburke.com/FJR/FJR1300AE.html

Email me with any questions/offers: [email protected]

Although the asking price a little over my budget, I would have given a serious thought to this bike had I not 'shook hands' on another 2009 AE just yesterday. Talk about timing!

I now have a deposit on the bike, waiting for it to clear my bank account. So for the time being it is "off the market" but I will be responsible and officially close this thread out when the balance payment is made.

Thanks for all who took an interest and those who commented.

It's been fun and a privilege to be on these boards and I will check in again from time to time. I loved the bike but have too busy a life to ride two bikes as they deserved, so one had to go. And I may just come back another FJR in the future.
