The cornering lights are rather cleaver and I see the lower fairing is designed to push air out and away from your boots.

 
At 1:06 in the video, there's a close-up of the engine casing where the shift pattern diagram is located. It clearly shows the shifter sequence as: " N 1 2 3 4 5 6".

Why would that be? Can anyone in US confirm the US 2016+ bikes have the traditional (stateside anyway) 1 N 2 3 4 5 6 pattern?

I would not have expected more than one shift pattern on a given model.

Is it just me our does the all silver one look weird/boring? Also, what are those red rectangles in the middle of each lane?

Red things are speed humps or rumble strips. Of course, at the speeds you ride, they're imperceptible.
