Just moved back to SJ after 12 years. For those that have experienced the service depts for both (GP Sports in Santa Clara or Grand Prix in SJ), which one was preferred? Any other shops/techs that proved to be a cut above? Thanks in advance for any insight.

I have used GP Sports, Santa Clara. Did the tick fix on the 03 and some other services when I was too busy to get to them. Haven't been there in two years but they did great work and damaged nothing. Not sure if the same guys are there or not. mike in Fremont, Ca.

I do my own maint. But when I feel the need, I go to San Jose Yamaha. Good people. I've had bad experiences with GP.

You sure about that Brian?

Thanks for the replies. I used GP to install a set of tires since they are a mile from work. Got a good price on some BT021's, but not so sure about them doing much else. I'll check out superbike and SJ Yam and get a feel for them. Can learn all I need to know with a 2 minute conversation, just wanted to narrow my choices a bit.
