Well, well. Christmas came early at my house this year. The UPS man shows up with some Dale Walker Holeshots at my door Wednesday night.

I had them on 30 minutes later. They sound great and the installation was straight forward. I especially like the rubber bumper for the center stand on the FJR. Attention to detail is consistant throughout.

I look forward to using them for a long time.

BTW - My wife was great for doing this when I probably would not have sprung for it myself. I mentioned that I wish I had a little more sound (she rides a Buell and I can't hear my bike over hers sometime) and now I do.

Have a great holiday and I hope the Ole Guy is good to you too.

DEAR SANTA,

HERE IS MY LIST:

1) PICTURES OF THUMPER'S NEW PIPES

2) SOUND CLIPS OF THUMPER'S NEW PIPES

3) A GIRLFRIEND WHO RIDES

THANKS

:D

Is this the full system or the slip-ons? Did you go for the black mufflers?

Actually the sound bytes on Dale Walkers website are probably as good as it gets. Just go to https://www.holeshot.com and look up the Slip-ons for the FJR. There are sound bytes there that are pretty close to the sound from what I can tell.

I opted for the Aluminum cans. It's just a matter of preferance either way you go on that. Blue Magic cleaner to keep them shiny.

As far as a girlfriend that rides, you just have to quit wearing that Full-face lid everywhere you go.

Like I said, they look and sound great and Dale was A+ as far as business goes. He did a follow up by email to ensure the package arrived in good shape.

Hope ya'll have a great Christmas!

I too have the Holeshots on my '05 and love them. The people I ride with say the sound is great, but not too loud. One person says it sounds much like a Ferrari when I jump on it. A great quality product.

"Santa, I want it all!"

That's what my girlfriend used to say to me every night! (she called me santa)

Santa showed up a tad early at my home as well. First it was the FZ1 mirrors, and then yesterday the Sargent seat showed up via the UPS man. The wife answered the door and accepted the box (from our buddy SportsBikeEffects no less....) -- and then proceeded to ask me "what is this for?" -- to which I replied "Don't ask" :dribble: Finally I fessed up that it was a new seat for my beloved FJR. And, of course, she asked; "what was wrong with the other seat?". Some folks just don't get it....

Cheers to all and Happy Holidays! Jay

You did not sleep with the bike that night right?

then she is keeper

Warning, riding behind FJRs that have holeshots for more than 4 continuous hours may cause headaches...pass them!
