Sat Feb. 13 ride along 49

Tomorrow the Boss and I are planning a ride from Coulterville to Grass Valley on Hwy 49 as a warmup the DV ride next month. Lunch stop is planned for Grass Valley and wanted to know if either the Old Town Cafe or Charlie's Cafe are worth stoppping at. Anyone who cares to join up or meet for lunch is aok with us. We're planning an 0830 departure from La Grange, which puts us in Jamestown@ 0930, Jackson around 1030 etc.. for meet ups. Looks to be a really nice day weatherwise and all the last minute V day shoppers will be at the mall so traffic hopefully will be light.

Not from the area, but when my wife and I visited two summers ago, the South Pine Cafe (102 Richardson St, southpinecafe.com) was recommended by the locals. My wife loved the lobster melt and would do anything to stop there again if we're ever in the area.

Just saw this, damn I have to work tomorrow or I'd join you. South Pine Cafe is much better, stay on South Auburn 1 block north past main street. At main street So, Auburn turns into North Auburn.
