Many of you have proven yourselves to be outwardly focused and charitable beyond all reason in the past. So I'm going to ask you all to do it again.
Think of your friends this holiday season, please. Pay special attention to those from whom you have not heard from in a while. Please pay even more attention to those whom you think may be alone this month and next. Reach out, give them a call, write them a letter, stop by, whatever. It's a small thing to do that may actually save a life.
