This seems interesting !

The Blurb:

"Welcome to Space Colony Alpha One, the only colony on the remote planet Blue Tomato. All who live here work for the betterment of the colony, whether they are builders, gatherers, defenders, growers, etc. All is peaceful and quiet at Alpha One until..."

This is an experimental cooperative rally. Instead of competing against each other, all participants will need to cooperate and coordinate their efforts in order to complete the objective(s). How that takes place and how responsibilities will be delegated are entirely up to the participants. More details will be emailed to participants approximately one month prior to the start. This is an online-only rally, meaning you can start and finish wherever you like, so long as it is within the 48-hour window of Saturday and Sunday May 5 and 6, 2018. How long and how far you ride within that 48-hour window is entirely up to you.

• What to bring

Riders will need either digital cameras or smartphones to take photos. Any additional special tasks will be made clear to participants when it gets closer to the start of the rally.

• Important to know

The fee is $10 per bike (whether solo rider or two-up) and it will include a commemorative decal. This is an online-only event, meaning you can start from and finish wherever you like. There is no finisher's banquet. Riders will submit their photos via email for scoring. There may be recognition of individual achievements but everyone will be a finisher so long as the colony survives.

I've done several of Hammy's rallies over the past several years. Always a good time and plenty entertaining. He's always looking to add new twists to keep things fresh.

I read everything I could find on that and I'm still as confused as when I started.

I've gone ahead and reached out to Hammy through email and have asked him to consider signing up here as a member. I've also offered to assist him in answering you guys who are interested if he chooses not to do so. One way or another we'll see if we can clear up the confusion.

I've also done a few of hammy's rallies. Always something new, and heck, I finished 3rd in the last one... broke my streak of being in the bottom 5!

Email response from Hammy;

"I don't go on forums much if at all. The basics are this: they have to work together with their fellow riders to either ride miles and/or hunt down boni. They have 48 hours to start and finish from wherever, can ride as little or as much as they want, but it's all going to be cooperative, as in the colony must survive 3 challenges. Boni and miles will both be important."

If you're on Facebook I think some of the riders already signed up are starting a FB group for the event in order to coordinate their efforts. I've never personally done one of his online rallies I've only done the local versions as he and I only live a couple hours distance from one another. I have SEO on my calendar so will probably pass on this one butas I've already stated will be happy to try and glean any information I can for you and try to pass on questions and responses if needed.
