What would DoG do?
Good boxing-based movie. And enough "chick-flick factor" to keep Eve entertained.'The Hammer' finds Adam as Jerry Ferro, a perpetual underachiever and once-promising boxer who hits a serious mid-life crisis on his 40th birthday. Biding his time between construction jobs and the evening boxing classes he teaches to amateurs at a Pasadena gym, opportunity knocks when he's asked to spar with hot up-and-comer Malice Blake. Jerry gets a serious beating, but a one-punch knockdown of Malice convinces him that it's time to seriously return to the ring -- and embark on a hilarious quest for Olympic gold.
Kinda like the first "Rocky" without Stallone and add some quit-witted sarcastic humor. Anyway, Adam asked his fans to go see it, then, if they liked it, tell their friends. Being a fan, I did as I was asked. Some good laughs, a decent plot, and Adam's definitely a much better boxer than he is a dancer.
