Is anyone interested in doing a Second Saturday Hill Country ride this year. I was thinking of meeting some place in Leakey or other spot near there and ride for awhile and then stopping for lunch then ride a little more then go our seperate ways. If this sounds like a good idea, just let me know.

Sorry, had to do it.

Oh well, I like to ride by myself too.
ASTAR,

I wish I was down that way and could ride with you. I actually may be moving to Austin this this summer and if that is the case, we will have to hook up and ride.

I have a buddy that is buying an 08AE and he will want to go with us. Enjoy your ride this weekend...it is some of the best in Texas. I am jealous.

Keep the dirty side down and ride safe.

Rex

Hey Astar,

Ignore Odot...he prefers it that way, but he does like beer, so its not all bad...maybe. And Dallas has **** roads compared to us, probably just envy in this case !

Anyway I live in NW San Antone and am "retired", its a medical thang but it doesnt keep me from tearin up the hills as often as financially possible. I dont have easy internet access but get on here once or twice a week. I often go to Bandera for some coffee at the OST. Maybe I could ride to Sabinal and we could go to Bandera via Leakey in a few weeks. My son is getting married in Dallas in a couple weeks so all my resources are kinda tied up until the second weekend of April, but I'm cool after that. I'm in a blues band that practices on most Saturdays, are you copacetic with Sundays? And I'm always open during the week, especially Tues and Wed. And thanks for the offer, I consider kindness a strength of character !

Blessings,

Bobby

D'oh! Wish I'd have seen this earlier...

I'm in Houston, but since the roads down here suck I'm always looking for an excuse to head out to hill country. Maybe next time.

That's right! We have some amazing clover leaf on and off ramps.

Those are some nice riding roads. I enjoy the hill country area but have not been on my FJR on those roads. My in-laws live in Montell, not too far from you. One of these days I will go visit the relatives with the bike.

Certain sundays might work out. It will have to be on a case by case basis.
