Sell it now, or wait till Spring?

I'm tired of the ZX-14. It sits in the garage and looks lonely week after week as I put more miles on the FJR. It's a stock 2008 model with only 1900 miles on the odometer.

Question: Should I sell it now? Or should I mothball it till Spring and sell it then? I can't weigh the depreciation of holding vs the lower price of selling in late November.

The sun is shining and it's 75 degrees outside today. In Texas, we generally have mild winters and people still ride, but not nearly as much as in the Spring and Fall.

It's free to put it on cycle trader. I tried all methods for selling a Honda I had and the person who bought it saw it online.

Put it 'out there' with the price you want for it, if it sells, it sells; if it doesn't, come spring you'll have to reevaluate what you are asking for it anyway.

+1 And don't forget craigslist, you'll probably talk to some squirrels, but real buyers lurk there too. I've bought 3 bikes off of craigslist, including a FJR.

I immediately missed mine once it was gone, maybe go ride it for a bit to be sure you want to sell it ;)

If you still want to sell, my wife wants to know how much :D
