Hi. I'm using the clamp for earbuds. The socket for the earbuds is cutting out intermittently.

Has anyone managed to fix this, or do I have to get a whole new clamp?

Thanks.

I've had a couple of the earbud connectors break at the strain relief while on trips and found that a quick application of JB Weld epoxy fixed it before the wires got damaged.

Before you replace it or rip it apart, try cleaning the pin connectors on the SMH10 and the clamp with some contact cleaner and then apply some dialectric grease. I had one clamp that was cutting out and this fixed the issue.

Once the wires are damaged, you are probably looking at a replacement unit. The clamp is cheap (~$50), so I'd just get another.
