anyone have a Shad Case on a 2008 fjr?? I am looking for the mounting bracket to mount a shad case on a 08.

I have a Shad 50L on my '07. purchased the overpriced Shad mount bracket and I wasn't impressed. Could probably be simple to have a local machine shop make you one for less than the Shad mount.

I just finished installing a SHAD 48 on my 08 yesterday. I used the mount that came with the case with satisfying results. The stock mount clamps in four places around the rear rack. Took me 30 minutes to install and 3 hours to install the brake light kit. The instructions are horrible and the wiring and mini screws provided are a joke but in the end it lights up nicely and looks great. I did add foam tape under the SHAD mount as well as the mounting clips to avoid scratching any paint long term. Shoot me a reply if you have any issues.
