I asked why it was not available and was told that sometimes people mount other (non-Motech) things to their tanks with them and then try to get the parts replaced under warranty, among other clever consumer nonsense.Then I was told that mine was still under warranty and that they would be happy to send me a new kit as long as mine didn't break due to an accident.  So I recalled the time I was at a gas station in the middle of nowhere and the darn thing wouldn't release, and how I got a bit anxious and had to smack it a bit before it finally came loose.  (True story, but a little dry lube fixed that problem.) I went on to say that the little tab must have broken then and I didn't notice it right away.They apologized for my troubles and they sent me a new kit.  I returned my broken one as instructed, using their provided shipping label.So, yeah.  Pricey, but they stand behind their stuff.  I really do like the bag and the mount.  No idea why it got stuck that one time.  It still latched on after I broke it off, but it was able to rock a bit, and I didn't feel all warm and fuzzy about that.  But id DID still work.[ATTACH=full]8664[/ATTACH]</blockquote>
