Was there a thread floating aboot where folks were changing their shifters to a different model type? Mine is damaged from my little "incident" and is in need of replacement. On a lighter note, my stator cover change went without problems.

The R1 mod though is the lever at the shift shaft, where it exits the engine. I would imagine Odot bent the foot lever, which remains oe.

Was there a year? Why did they change it other then because they had weird shaped crows feet? Oh, most importantly....was it cheap and easy to find?

Nevermind...rad just pulled out the tooth.

I put one on my '06A. It makes the shift shorter, the replacement arm is shorter.....

Ordered from Gary McCoy at University Motors.

Thanks Robert. Any trouble getting your boot under the shorter shift arm? Never rode an R1........ I have big feet.

It goes between the shifter and the tranny, just shortens the throw.
