As a rule, I dont' wear open face helmets. I got a good price on this one in leaden grey from Amazon so I ordered it.

It's just been so hot in Texas this year I nearly suffucate in my full face and I don't like to ride with the face up on my modular.

Has anyone ever tried one of these?

I'm on my 2nd one. Good fit and well made.

It's all I wear in the summer. Great helmet, nice fit, pretty quiet for a 3/4. I recently purchased a new RJ-Air, a size smaller than I usually wear. I'm very happy with the helmet and would purchase again (Besides, I can't find an Arai SZ-M for less then the cost of the Shoei)...That would be the logical replacement for me.
