No affiliation, but I bought one a few months ago for about $440 and I thought that was a deal. Just thought I'd pass it along.

In case anyone is curious, I bought the metallic silver and I love it. Great protection, good looks, and outstanding ventilation.

E-Bay. I was a bit nervous, since the price was so good, but the seller had perfect feedback, and a pretty high rating. Sure as hell, a few days after I made payment the helmet showed up. Nicely packaged, Shoei box inside shipping box, all paperwork and warranty cards. Helmet was new and in perfect condition. Still has the scratch guard plastic over the visor screen.

Like I said, just looked at the right time. The helmet did sit on E-Bay for a few days though, which also surprised me. :yahoo:

Oh, and I did confirm the date of manufacture with the seller before I made payment, 9/06.
