Okay, I live in the mountains west of Denver and approximately 6 months after buying my bike the shop closed. So now I need a new shop for the valve adjustment and possibly to fix a ticker. My bike is an 04 and has 22000 miles on it. I hope it is not a ticker, but the valve train seems reall loud. Anybody have good luck with a shop on the front range area.

Vickery in Aurora has a great shop with wonderfull people. the sales department sucks BIGTIME but the service department rocks.

There is a big dealership at 470 and 85 but I have never used them.

Powersports is another dealer here in Denver on the north side of town.

Hope this helps

Have had some work done at Twin Peaks. Is at I-25 and Highway 66 just north of Longmont. But as with most dealers, they are really proud of the parts they sell. Had them do my last tire change, had me in and out in about 45 minutes.

I've been using Excel Yamaha on West Colfax, just before Wadsworth.

They have done the scheduled services competently. It doesn't feel very 'homey' or friendly, but I'll take cold and effective over homey an incompetent. I haven't had any big issues to deal with, so I don't know how they will do with a tick problem.

I visited Excel on Colfax, probably pretty close to you, not too far into town. They did a great job and squeezed me in (I was on a ride from California and had limited time). They did a throttle sync and I saw 4 other FJR's there. I asked...they said they work on a lot of FJRs
