Ridgid WD4522 4.5 Gallon Portable

Purchased this off ebay about a month ago after prolonged research and hand wringing

liked the idea of high quality, portable, highly effective (really sucks!) but convenient

not too big and not too small

Well, I can't be more satisfied at this point...vac dog hair by the bushel, dirt & stand tracked onto the ceramic tile floor, damp to dry cement dust, dry grout.

Blows debris off small concrete pad in yard.

It's big enough that it doesn't need emptying very often, the filter seems very good, and all the accessories used stay with the vac. long 20' power cord. The hose is of the highest quality and seems ok to drag the unit around by the hose on occassion.

The only accessory I wanted and purchased was a wider, floor brush attachment vt1714

Thanks for posting this, looks like it will store easier than the typical shop vac. This is timely as mine has been abused for many years and currently is making an awful shrieking sound. I think the bearings are about ready to seize!

How timely, my 20+ year old one just blew the motor, and this one looks like a winner. Portable, stackable, functonal. Thanks for posting up, Patriot.
