A buddy of mine goes up there several times a year but we're always interested in the insider's knowlegde.

What'ca got?

Lemme know your alloted time and time of day you wanna ride... I'll get you the best roads. One thing you need to remember: It's summer and this is a tourist town = tons of cages. No joy joy riding, cuz the back roads are congested by locals avoiding the main routes congested by tourists.

We'll arrive late afternoon on 7/21. The main diring will be 7/22 and, depending on the heat, we will ride most of the day. 7/23 will be the ride home (San Dieog). Are you going to join us?

It was cooler north of San Louis Obispo than the weather in and around Orange and San Diego county, even in the back country. As we neared and ran along Hwy 1 the weather was cool enough to appreciate our jackets.

The roads were WONDERFUL!!! We had an absolute BLAST!!! Only thing wrong was that it was too short.

You’ll missed a good one.
