Rode through Teton/Yellowstone over the weekend. Super nice weather-blue bird skies for 2 days. Lots of people in the parks! Take your time and enjoy...

Heading into Greybull WY my day went from really good, to terrible, to really good again in 5 minutes. State Trooper zapped me, accused me of having a radar detector, apologized after checking out my SPOT, ran my license and came back with a WARNING! :yahoo:

Greybull Airport:

Day 2 rode hard over the Beartooth and back home. Road is in great condition, only one small construction project (bridge rebuild Yellowstone side). No photos--just rode through. Lots of snow still up there and mountain flowers.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION: Avoid Montana State HWY 308 Belfry to Red Lodge. Very nasty construction. No pavement for several miles, and one stretch with soft-ball sized rocks everywhere, plus watering trucks making dirt into mud. I was seriously worried about a puncture, but made it through. One of the worst I've ever been through--

We rode by that airport last September and wanted to stop in. I guess not much has changed as far as the construction goes either because that stretch was in the same shape then too.
