Thanks for referring me to our forum member garauld (Gary) regarding repairing and repainting my 2008 sidebag. I sent it to him, he repaired and repainted for me and shipped it back and it looks brand new! I couldn't be happier. Heck, he even included the four rivets required to reattach the lid. If anyone needs something similar done I'd highly recommend him. He does excellent work.

Now if I can keep my dumbass from dropping it again!

He did the same for me - great job. Then my dealer scratched the same bag and sent it to him again - looks great!

If you don't mind me asking. What did he charge? I have a single scatch on my left saddle bag going the full length.

I think some ass-wipe used there key on it.

Garulds reputation increases, post by post.

I can't think of one post, over the last many years, of anyone unhappy with his quality of work or service.

Garauld... :yahoo:

Me thinks I need to ride to his hood just to buy him a dinner..

Anyone else wanna go?

Because of reading numerous, and I mean numerous posts about garauld's work I decided to order a backrest/rack combo from him instead of buying one at the dealer. I look forward to receiving it and hope it meets the reputation that has been built for him.

Could someone give me his contact info please. I dropped mine a while back and scratched it up. Tried to touch it up, but that didn't work. I would love to have it repaired.

Thank you
