I bought a Sirius stratus yesterday and it does not seem like it will be loud enough when on the bike. I have not activated it yet but did listen to the weather channel that comes on after you turn it on and even with the volume all the way up its not loud enough. Any suggestions?

The seller doesn't have them listed on ebay but does show it on His sight but no price, How much was the AmpliRider ?
I emailed him and asked that question after I posted the link. Here is his reply;

I am certainly still building the AmpliRider model. The amp is

offered directly for U.S. $65 and this includes the cost to

deliver the amp anywhere in the world by insured Airmail. An amp

can be in the mail within one day of someone's order and from

there it takes between four to ten business days to arrive.

Great deal and a great amp.

FYI, my Sirius unit has a volume in the unit itself. Look under the menu options and you should find a volume setting. Mine came from the factory at a very low setting, IIRC.

Sure wish mine did(Streamer GT). I have a headphone jack & volume control on the right side but could use just a slight bit more volume . . .

Never mind I found the mixit. I think its just what I need.
Try the Ampli-rider Link here It is a bit less money. I've been using one for years.
That looks good also! Where did you guys mount it and does it get hot?

I mounted it under the seat. Velcro holds the remote volume control on to my brake master cylinder so I can turn it down at intersections and stop lights. I've had mine for 3 plus years and have had zero trouble with it.

Boosteroo. Inexpensive and works great. You can get it at Radio Shack. I also purchased an extension with volume control wheel so I can turn music up or down depending on my mood.
