For all you folks who live in snow country... Thought you might take solace in knowing that it's snowing in Creston right now and the weather report said it had snowed in SANTA BARBARA, home of TWN.

Rumor has it that TWN has traded in his Feejer for a whatchacallit, a sled?? :D

Well the FJR is in the garage and the Jeep is in the street waiting to go on a snow run in the mountains above us. It actually snowed in our town for about the 4th time in the past 30 years. B)

Lesseee, Highlander lives in the Santa Cruz mountains (and has an "interesting" driveway, about 45 degrees with a drop-off on one side) and its snowing. Northbound Hwy 101, North of the Golden Gate bridge is closed--28 car fatal accident in the snow. All the "Gold Country" communities are getting snow (most are at the 1500' level)

Wierd stuff, what?

It will be interesting to see TWNs "snow-tan". :D Its gotta be good for the tropical plants in that area, but snow is better than monsoons! At least a light snow won't wash all the forest fire burn areas into mudslides and into the ocean.

********! As I gaze out upon the beautiful, fog shrouded coastal mountains, I see not one iota of the white fluffy stuff. Indeed, the clouds appear to be parting over the Channel Islands. Need to get the new brake pads run-in, sooo, off I go! :bleh:

Snowing on TWN, lessee, what did I do to day (Peoria, IL. temp 50 at wake up 69 for the days high, showers & thunderstorms, but not till tonight). So I pull the VN750 out of the garge and head into Peoria for coffee at Joe's, let's see need to check in with My galesburg crew so after coffee saddle up & hit the interstate for galesburg. Have a nice vist with my people, and decide to take IL97 down to Canton. 97 has a few nice sweepers FELT GOOD!!! Stopped at my yamaha dealer in Canton, want to be sure my calander wasn't running slow and it was April already. they assured me that it wasn't its still March. Ok so I gassed up and headed down 78 to 100, again 100 has a few nice sweepers before you get to Lewiston. At Lewiston to the county road passed Dickson mounds, got some twistes there the Vucan is no FJR but they where fun. Picked up 78 again into Havana pulled up next to a Sportster 883 at the stop light. he let me hear his pipes-MORAL light changes Sportster got the pipes Vulcan got the SCOOT. picked up 136 east out of Havana to the Delavan Blacktop its got new surface, way smoooth, no traffic. Just crank down on the right hand grip and let it run. :D

I feel for you TWN can't ya tell.
