Myself and a few friends are making the trek to Keystone, CO next weekend to do some skiing and ... We have a place rented right in Keystone. Anyone live near there or are planning to ski that weekend? Maybe we can have a beverage together? :drinks: It looks like conditions will be OK.

I never had the urge to slide down a hill on sticks but it does sound better than football :p

Unlike our friend from Oregon, I long ago drank that particular batch of cool-aid and have spent hundreds of very pleasant days sliding downhill on sticks. I have also been known to spend some time in Colorado. Unfortunately, I will be in CA not CO while you are in Keystone. Enjoy!

I have still been waiting on some decent conditions to get out on the boards. Unfortunately every time we get a snowfall it then warms up and we get rain and then it freezes up again. I am not willing to put out any money for a lift ticket to go out and ski boilerplate.

We go skiing every Superbowl weekend someplace. There's fewer people around to watch our, um, antics...

Garauld,

According to my friends that ski, conditions are really good right now. Our mountains got off to a slow start this year after record snow last year. Keystone is heavily skiied and the bottom towards the lifts are flat so you have to run flat out to keep from skating to the chair. Nice resort and you will have a wonderful time. I used to ski there in years past.
