Skullcandy Link Question

I'm either going to get a mixit or a skullcandy link

Is anyone using the link with an Ipod and X50? I'm concerned that the ipod will drown out the X50 even with the X50 at full volume. With the Mixit, it will amplify both signals so I could leave the Ipod at say half volume, then use the amp to turn it up a little.

With the link, that isn't an option.

The amplirider is not an option, because I need to be able to take it from bike to bike.

I would go with a MIXIT 2. The mixit 2 has a mono jack input with priority override. That way, stick the RD on priority override and when it sounds off, it will mute all other inputs.
