Skyway Soltek Bracket Bushings

I bought the FZ1 mirrors for my '08 in order to get a view of something other than my elbows. In the post below SockMonkey stated that the shorter bushings included with the skyway soltek mounts helped stabilize the mirrors on his bike. I'm wondering if anyone bought these mounts for a Gen I and didn't use the bushings as according to kaitsdad (see other link) they aren't needed on a Gen I. If so would you be willing to sell them to me? I emailed skyway, but I don't know if I'll hear back from him.

Alternative solution?

Does anyone know for sure that the Gen I spacers are smaller? I could just order those. The part numbers are different between GenI and GenII...
