Slider Installation?

Hey all... I just bought a set of sliders for my 07 AE. I tend to torque a bit more than I should so I'm holding off on really tightening these.

Am I screwing in to Aluminum or Steel with these? I easily strip the threads on Aluminum. Or, anyone know the torque pressure needed for these?

The attachment points are engine mounts, aluminum, 35 ft-lbs, left side first. Do NOT over-torque! No Loc-tite, no anti-seize. The slider should have a metal sleeve, don't leave it out.

Thanks! I only have about 15lbs on there now... will get them set tonight. (I'm not driving the bike today)
