Slipper Clutch in an 07?

I may be showing off my mechanical ignorance, so I figured Friday to be the good day to ask this question. Since the the Gen 2 motor is mostly the same motor as a Gen 3, does anyone know, or have an opinion if one could swap the existing clutch with a new slipper clutch like a 2016 has? I'm crazy about my '07 and don't have the resources to trade for a new FJR, much as I think the improvements for 2016 are really good. I would like to take advantage of the lighter lever pull. Just curious. No idea if the cost would make it an impractical idea, either. Thanks.
