Ok, I'm not sure how I ran across this stuff. Wether it was just surfing the web or something I found on this forum. One of the things that has bugged me since I bought the FJR is the grips. I have never owned a MC with grips that were so slippery. I have Yamaha heated grips so I don't want anything too thick added that might keep the heat from reaching my hands when it's cold. Ok, so I found this stuff called, "3M™Greptile™ Gripping Material". It can be purchased in 1X24" adhesive backed strips. This stuff is thin, sticks very well, and give the grips a non slip feel. From what I understand it was designed to put on golf clubs and work even when the grips are wet. If anyone is interested here is the website. https://www.clubmaker-online.com/grip1.html

You can also add a strip to your gloves if you don't want to add it to the grips. This stuff really works!!

If this is old news...Mr. Admin, just remove it.
