After 10K since July '05 I have yet to touch down any hard parts, and I only get 4K on a set of tires and always outpace anyone I ride with, so I usuallly ask to follow. I'm 6' tall/185 lbs and I am very comfortable on this bike and rarely use my highway pegs.
I think other smart money is everyone who sold their low mileage '05 FJR to get the '06 with the hopes of better heat management and other minor modifications...which is always subjective.
I just upgraded to the holeshot full exhaust system and my "heat problem" is diminished, it will never go away.
