I took my bike into the dealers service department to have new rubber put on, since I don't have a tire changer or balancer.
Anyway, while making idle chit chat with the service manager, I asked him if a lot of FJRs come in for service, given that I know this dealer sold 12 '05 models alone. He said, "we just had one in last week. For some strange reason, it needed a valve job at 15K miles." Since I suspect that I have the tick, I think I'm going to go to another dealer for service. On the whole, the shop looked like a pigsty and I was not at all impressed in any way.
Does anyone know if there is an official TSB for the US, or we still have to go through the trouble of getting the service manager to call Yamaha central service?
