I know lots of people smoke for years and never get cancer, but if just one person does that is too many. The subject is an emotional one for me right now. I just found out the week before last that my mother has terminal lung cancer. Yes, she was a smoker up until late last year when she came down with a bad case of pneumonia. That is when they found it. I am the last person to tell someone how to live their life, but now every time I see someone smoking it makes me think of my mother and want to say something.
