So what're the prices for cigarettes like around JoCy?

Debating if I should stock up before we leave or wait'll we get down there.

Thanks,

BG

Well... I hear "White Owls" are pretty cheap down thata way. Right up yer ally ain't they? :p
:jester:
Keep yer anus shavin', sheep-molestin' thoughts to yerself, Bust.

You can still afford to smoke?
When smokes hit $2 a pack, I was gonna quit.

When smokes hit $3 a pack, I was gonna quit.

When smokes hit $4 a pack, I was really gonna quit.

When smokes hit $5 a pack, I was really, Really, REALLY gonna quit.

Damn things. Wish I didn't like 'em.

No kidding. They are averaging $7.00 a pack here in Wisconsin. At a pack a day quitting would cover my bike payment AND insurance every month.
Damn I need to quit.
Holy carp!

:dribble:

Buy 'em when you get there, and maybe even stock up. Their price is mostly taxes, and either North Carolina or Virginia have the lowest. Tennessee should also be low.....
Cool.

Thanks for the insight!

BG

Ya..here in MA it is like $7.50 for a pack of Camel Lights..sometimes more.

Good thing NH is close by, I run up on the scenic route and pay $50 a carton.

Damn I should quit.

I don't see how you do it. When I quit it was less than a buck a pack and I couldn't afford it. When I started it was 1.10 a carton in the military.

The question is still out there.........

My Good Friend, why don't you quit? As FJRay says: "Everything else tastes better when you quit and you live longer to taste more!" Richard, I really hate to see my close riding buddies smoke. Can't stand the idea of losing M/C pals to cancer!

Fairlaner should consider himself fortunate that he not only has one Irish Mother, he now has two Irish Muthas nagging him!!

Pfft. My heart bleeds for y'all

here in Mtl, to buy my pack of Dumauriers at Couche-Tard (french 7/11) just now, it was $10.00 even (pack of 25)

A 22lr is less than a dime and a lot quicker. Shouldn't turn this into a rant but having been a long time smoker I feel for those who still do and can't quit. Rant over.

When I smoked, cigs were 60c a pack outta the machine. I'm glad I quit. One of the best things I've ever done.

On topic...I would think cigs would be cheaper down south...but what do I know.

+1 on not wanting to lose anybody to cancer...because cancer is a fookin *****....but we all makes our choices. I'm sure my wife would like me to quit mc riding.
