Smuggler fit

Will a Gen 2 smuggler fit on a Gen 3.

Yup, back end of the bike is the same.

It won't with the new Aluminum tail rack for the larger Yamaha trunk, at least with out some modifications.

Thanks for both the replies, I won't be using a trunk just the smuggler for now, but that's good to know.

It might go as far as having to cut the bottom of the smuggler and machine the the mounting arms that go forward thinner. This has been a slow work for me, I have a few to many irons in the fire right now to get to involved. I'm forming a plan but I'm thinking it is going to get pretty involved.

I have been taking some pictures and will post once I find the time to get after it.

After owning many Corbin seats over the years, I am surprised when anything from Corbin fits without great force being applied....

The Smuggler fits fine with the original stock stuff but the extra stuff for the new Aluminum rack hits the bottom of the Smuggler. Not Corbin's fault at all!
