Had my 13 for a couple of weeks, took the gas tank sticker off when I got home. Never noticed the subtle black Yamaha sticker on the front of the front fender until someone mentioned taking it off their new bike. It is now gone so thanks to whoever posted.

so what did you use to remove the gas tank sticker. I don't like mine either, but am a little gun shy of removing it. I don't want to wreck the paint.

A hair dryer will do it nicely, then use a microfiber cloth and WD40 to remove any goo. Doesn't take too much heat to do the trick.

Edit: ^ beat me to it.

Used the basic hairdryer to completely warm it up and then SLOWLY peel it off in one piece if lucky, otherwise fingernail and roll with finger. Clean up with goo gone and then final area clean with wd 40. Surround work area with rag to keep from runny liquids. Goo gone needs to soak a bit. Dampened rag with wd 40 for finale.

While you've got the hair dryer out heat up the stupid reflectors on the bags... hold the reflectors with a pair of ChannelLocks and twist the reflectors gently as you heat them, they're gone in under a minute, clean up any residue with Goo Gone or alcohol then polish with wax... your FJR will look so much better for it...

I like my reflectors!

I had one taken off by a cager once. I had to buy a new one to put back on.

Since I gots me no fingernails, work in food packaging production so I keep them cut very short, I used one of the wife's wooden cuticle pokey sticks and a little WD40. Works fine.

I also like my bag reflectors. They make a good handle.

Gang,

Thanks for the tips on removing the stickers. I have my bike parked in the basement for winter, so I'll add that to the list of things I need to take care of.
