It was a wild and windy adventure to be had. It all started with our first stop at Doffo Winery for the vintage motorcycle collection which was made up of mostly Ducatis. We were greeted by Marcelo and his gracious smile and a handshake. He had coffee and pastries waiting and stories to tell. Thanks to Neil for organizing this most anticipated ride.

Here are some photos taken and I am sure others will be contributing:

Marcelo on the left and Neil on the right.

Off topic: On my way home I stopped at an AM/PM that bought my wifes new Pony Tail protector. She is super excited to see her product in a store. If these things start selling maybe she will give me more farkle money :yahoo:

Nice to see this ride finally come to fruition....

Very nice report, I could only imagine the verbage of history concerning those Ducatis'.

Well, now we've seen the destination photos, I guess the riding pics coming later....

Thank you so much. Her website is almost complete clicky

I'm looking forward to meeting you tonight :D

Do they come in '06 blue?
Very interesting photos. What a treat getting to see them.

Thanks for taking the time pudscrubber pegscraper. ;)

:D
Taking the photos are no problem. It is the editing, shrinking the size, loading it to a photo web site and then inserting the images that takes time. But it is what I enjoy Michelle Old Michael. ;)

Thanks everyone, that was fun! I sent an email to Marcelo yesterday and thanked him for his hospitality.

There was a photographer on Palomar that caught several of us coming down the mountain. Amansker on on page 4, the rest are on page 5. Look here for pictures on March 27

Great ride Neil!!!

My pix are basically the same as others have posted.

The faster 1st group down the hill, and first at Fat Ivor's, didn't get their pix taken, too quick for the guy I guess. ;)

I did take out a bird on Ortega Hwy coming home. It was a mess all over my bike, rim, fender, caliper and fairing cowl (near the radiator) was bird kill all over. I had to wash the bike to rid of the mess and feathers. yuk. :dribble:
