You know your FJR needs some company in the garage. You know you want to ride with BeemerDons and SkooterG the next time they go to Mexico. Saddle-Up and GIT-R-DONE!

Don't mess around with a wimpy, girly wee-strom when you can have a MAN-STROM adventure bike! It's ready to go, and outfitted with everything you need to go on-road or off and have yourself some big fun! I bought this during the summer from a friend, and was beginning to prep it for a ride to Prudhoe Bay Alaska, but last week I switched directions and bought a new Super Tenere instead. (Yes, my FJR is for sale, too...look for it in another posting soon).

It's priced to sell at just $2,995, and located just a few miles from Portland OR. I can also make a very nice skid-plate and a SW-Motech tankbag available if you want to pay extra for them with the bike.

90,000 senior-ridden miles (I'm not the senior, it's the guy who owned it before me!)

Renthal handlebar with crossbar

Acerbis hand guards (heavy-duty!)

Race Tech gold valve system front forks

Suzuki tank bra

Shad 37L locking top box

Suzuki center-stand

Givi crash/protective bars

Custom seat by Mr. Ed's Moto

Bridgestone Battlewing tires (approx. 10-20% left)

NEP throttle-lock

Factory service manual

Service Grab-bag including new, ready-to-install:

Front fork bushings & seals

Front wheel bearings & seals

Rear wheel bearings & seals

Brake caliper piston seals

Recent service including:

New chain and sprockets

Valves checked

New plugs

Oil and filter change

Air filter cleaning

Throttle-body sync

New fuel pump/ filter in the tank

Battery has recently been replaced

Note that the pictures below were taken before I installed the custom seat and skid plate

Very clean. Too clean maybe? Can you throw some dirt on it to make it look like it's been ridden?

If you insist! (That's OCfjr and his Super Tenere hiding in the background).

The things that show up when you are broke :angry2: . Good luck with the sale Dennis.

One of my customers called and offered a 03 KLR with all the goodies for 2200.00. :angry2:

Might have to sell some other toys if this keeps up :angry2: .

I know exactly what you mean Ray! The Super-T was too good of a deal to pass up so now I'm straining! Must buy farkles, must buy farkles....... :dribble: :dribble: :dribble:

If you decide to sell those Jesse bags separately, please, please, please... Can I be first in line?

I have some Givi E36 bags and mounts for touring duty now and some Seahorse cases for daily use, but I really lust for the Jesses. I'm sure that you understand.

Does it come with a tire car too?
Hah! I actually do have a used car tire that's leftover from my 48++ ride on the FJR last summer! But it's going to go with the FJR sale.

Possible sale pending already on the Man-Strom! And Fred W, he DOESN'T want the Jesse luggage so stay tuned!

Wow!!! I'm giddy with anticipation. :p

Bummer, possible buyer is too far away to pick up easily. Back to looking for a new home. Surely somebody here wants a nice Man-Strom...

Sorry to hear that (for selfish reasons ;) ).

For anyone considering one of these, Just Do It!! They really are incredible bikes.

As the (in)famous Reno John has said before: "The Man-stroms are the funnerest bikes out there!" and RJ knows a few things about fun.

I put a few hundred miles on mine this weekend. What a complete blast. Especially here on the frost heave pocked roads of Northern New England (I'm sure there are a lot of other similar rural areas that don't get too much tarmac love from the road crews). With the 'strom, I can enter any blind corner at pretty much any reasonable speed and know that if there are rips and warts in the pavement in the middle of the corner, it can just ride right through them, sucking up the big bumps with the long travel suspension, and without chattering sideways off the road. And I certainly don't have to sweat the occasion transition to gravel or dirt. Sweat it? Hell, I regularly seek out those kind'a opportunities!!

Let me frame it this way... If I had bought myself a Man-strom before I already had an FJR, I might never have kept looking and eventually bought one.

Yeah, IMO, the 'stroms are that good. Talk about your swiss army knife of a bike...

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, nobody in my neck of the woods was interested in my '07 1000 for a VERY good price.

So I just added $700 worth of Happy Trail bags to it and will just keep it and ride it. Two bikes still in the garage--- damn the luck!!

I think its cool, but $4500 for a 6 year old bike with 88k on it worries me. I'm interested in it, but would also have to factor in the cost of flying up and riding back down...Brrrrrrrrr.
