A couple of weeks ago I was strongly considering selling the bike. I had a McCruise installed on it but it was mis-behaving. It has always been a bit of a challenge getting it dialed in. The '06 and '07 have the funky throttle cam so it makes the cable tension really particular. I decided I didn't want to pass on the trouble to an unsuspecting buyer. I removed the McCruise.

I do not want to mislead anyone. I had it working - I believe all of my problems were related to cable slack. The connector to the computer also has a broken latch - easy enough to remedy with a couple of well placed cable ties or you can send Tony a note and I am sure he will sell you a whole new harness - right after you pay for it.

These units are north of $800 new. I got a deal on this one. But I also ordered a new cable harness. I wanted a left hand control and the PO had an AE so he had a right hand control.

This thing was awesome and it is everything a cruise should be. This is not the new all electronic unit it has the vacuum actuator.

I didn't end up selling my bike after all. I have no intention of going through the reinstallation. That throttle cable connection is a *****.

Give me $200 and this project can be yours. Only to the continental US and shipping will be cheapest I can find. If you have an '08 - '12 you need this on your bike.

Joe
