Good idea.
This thread was a bit of surprise to me when I found it. I had had been tracking the old Soltek thread and just by chance found this thread in the GB section.

What would DoG do?
Unless you want to limit the group buy to people smart enough to have some reading comprehension skills and an attention span bigger than a Goldfish.
If we want numbers and the biggest discount possible, I'd suggest opening it up to "the rest" by starting a dedicated thread.
When does the group buy end? I got mine!

"I got mine", meaning I ordered and paid for them, and assume they're as good as being in my hot little hands already, unlike the other 20 or 30 people who expressed interest above the 19 people who already ordered.

So, how many (legit) players do we have so far?
Well, I ordered mine - and had the absolutely incredible coincidence of being the first person to order on Ian's site. Order Numero Uno.
Now if they'll just ship my Solteks first .....
Ian will probably have to give us the numbers to date. Perhaps there are some 'reminders' that need to go out?

So far it is up to 23 confirmed. Here's to hoping that the numbers will get somewhere near to what was discussed earlier, as the pricing that's been set up is dependant on qty sold.

Some folks indicated if the GB wasn't going to wrap up in time for like WFO, they weren't in. I think there are some IBR riders too that are probably concerned they won't get them in time.
My issue is a little different and I hope to have it addressed by middle of next week.
So what is the ETA for orders? Are you shipping them as they are ordered? Or not until the GB is done and when is that end date?

Maybe reminder emails should be sent out.
There were a few people who joined the forum just for the GB. They might be waiting for us to email them.

How about those of you who have already paid for your set send me a PM or post here and let me know you are done?
This way we have an easy list to go off and Skyway knows who is left.
I don't plan on adding others to this list (those who were NOT on the original 44 are more than welcome) just trying to make sure everyone comes through that said they would take a set.
What I have so far from the original "I will take a set" list:
17.3 of 44 paid (I will update as you post/PM me)
I'm sure there are many more who are done but this is all I could find who publicly stated they were done.

Er, uh, well, I'm having a little problem convincing my wife I need to buy these lights in addition to the $600 I just spent on "communication" equipment, etc. from Bike Effect's. :dribble: And there is no way I can get them on by WFO..... And here's hoping the GB will last long enough for me to "Sell" this to the wife. Yeah, I know but we've been married 41 years and she's a keeper!
So, I am officially OTF (on the fence) till after the WFO.
