The first 2300 mile trip I did I sat on a damn inflatable neck pillow the entire time. Your "seat rug" reminded me of that. I'm now awaiting a new saddle from Rick Mayer in Calif. Can't wait.

I found that compression pants (under my jeans) really help, underwear seems cause me pressure points and much pain after an hour or so. I may just take a bread knife to my seat and glue in a pro pad (gel insert) and save some big bucks on a custom seat.

I had my seat cut down (I'm inseam challenged) by a local auto upholstery place that also does the gel inserts. He says they do "a lot" of gel inserts for the Corbin saddles.

Yes I'm not able to touch the ground flat footed even with tall boots (inseam challenged as well). How does the seat work for you now?
